I am Jirui from China. I got my master’s degree from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I am interested in dealing with data generated from chemistry problems, and it will be super fun to build models to predict carbon material properties by harnessing machine learning. I strive to develop models and frameworks that enable the acceleration of atomistic simulations by orders of magnitude while retaining DFT-level accuracy. Additionally, I work on building a platform where quantum chemistry data can be calculated, shared, and organized. My hobby is working out.

I was brought up in Taiwan where there is a famous building Taipei 101 located near my home. My hobbies are cycling and driving, so road-bike traveling and road-trip are my favorite. In my leisure time, I always go to the gym. My research interests are in modeling fields and making great applications by combing my previous experimental knowledge.
